Longhorn Network will return for new season

The Longhorn Network films a game earlier this year. The channel hopes to expand its presence in the coming year.
Last year, the University of Texas and ESPN launched the Longhorn Network, a television station covering the Longhorns football team. In 2011, two games were broadcast exclusively on the Longhorn Network, and this year the men's athletic director DeLoss Dodds has said he hopes three games will be played only on the Longhorn Network.

For a formerly controversial television station, it seems to be growing significantly in only a year. Some are worried, however, that the growth will be unnoticed - some skeptics wonder if any cable providers will pick up the Longhorn Network before the opening game, but Dodds has said it's not an issue yet and that these worries will change nothing.

So, Texas fans, how are you feeling about this? Find out more about the Texas-exclusive channel here.
