By situation we are not talking about the ugly situation at the Jersey Shore, but rather the situation involving the Governor of Texas, Rick Perry and University of Texas President William Powers as well as the University of Texas Chancellor Francisco Cigarroa.
News outlets like The Houston Chronicle are reporting that Mr. Perry may be maneuvering to oust Powers and Cigarroa as retaliation for their resistance to higher education reforms backed by Perry and advocated for by some of his biggest donors.
It always stinks when politics gets involved with sports and lets hope this doesn’t turn out as ugly as when the federal government got involved with baseball.
