Daje Johnson has changed his mind and has switched his commitment from TCU to Texas. He has been one of the crown jewels of the TCU Horned Frogs 2012 class, but just a few days before signing, he switched.
Johnson is listed as a four-star prospect and ranked as No. 14 athlete and No. 141 player overall.
Johnson appeared to be firmly committed to TCU early in the recruiting process, while there seemed to be little interest from Texas. Then, Johnson contacted co-offensive coordinator Major Applewhite and head coach Mack Brown.
After their meeting, Johnson became committed to Texas.

Longhorns Need Win Over Tigers
After a 1-4 stretch against the top teams of the Big 12, the Longhorns are scrambling for a home win and looking for that win against the Tigers. The win could possibly put them back onto the NCAA Tournament bubble.
In the past two weeks, Texas has lost by 4 at No. 24 Kansas State, by 3 at No. 7 Kansas and by 5 at No. 5 Baylor. Now the Longhorns are sitting at 13-8 and have only one more chance to get the type of signature conference victory that would put them back into the national spotlight and onto the NCAA tournament bubble.
The Longhorns play No. 4 Missouri tonight in Austin, two weeks after they lost 84-73 to the Tigers in Columbia.
